About the Course
A structured 4 months program across 12 modules.
The course covers blockchain and the EVM, Solidity, smart contract security, testing with Hardhat, and dApp frontends (Web3.js, Ethers.js). You build a smart contract and a small dApp with a wallet-connected frontend, and deploy on testnet.
- Blockchain fundamentals: consensus, cryptographic primitives, and the EVM
- Solidity: data types, patterns, and gas optimisation
- Smart contract security: reentrancy, access control, and auditing
- Testing with Hardhat: unit tests, gas analysis, and edge cases
- dApp development with Ethers.js and React + MetaMask integration
- DeFi and NFT standard implementations (ERC-20, ERC-721)
What You'll Build
3 hands-on projects
- 1Smart contract system (e.g. ERC-20 token, voting, or escrow) with comprehensive Hardhat test suite and Etherscan-verified testnet deployment
- 2Connected dApp: React frontend with MetaMask wallet integration, contract reads/writes, and transaction state management
- 3Security audit report for a provided contract, using Slither and manual review techniques
